Our last visit was to Kew on 4th June 2019, when 45 of us visited the gardens. Kew is the largest and most diverse botanical collection in the world. Founded in 1840, from an exotic private garden, its living collections include some 27,000 plant and fungal specimens.
Unfortunately when we visited, it rained for most of the day but didn't stop us enjoying what Kew has to offer. The palm house and temperate house were quite magnificent, packed with a huge variety of tropical plants.
An added attraction was an exibition of beautiful glass sculptures by an American artist Dale Chihuly as shown below.
